Reader Survey Results

Oh wow, I’m so glad you’re such kinky readers. In my recent survey, 69% of respondents were tempted to subscribe by my Kinky Collection (a very apt number). I am glad that 47% of you were tempted to subscribe by both the Kinky Collection and the Supernatural Collection.

A massive 80% of those who replied wanted to see more kinky stories, with 60% of you wanting more stories about dominant women. Whether these Dommes should be in charge of submissive men or women was equally divided, but just over a third wanted more male Doms in charge of female subs.

It’s great to know that nearly half of you regularly read my articles on writing erotica, with another quarter reading them occasionally.

The responses from my paid subscribers were much the same. They had an additional question about my serial stories. The Diary of A Victorian Disciplinarian and Painted Stripes are my most popular serials. I will add that The Contract was also popular, as many people became paid subscribers just to read it.

The results above are based on a small sample. Approximately 2% of my free subscribers and 8% of my paid subscribers took part.

If you are one of the silent majority that never comments, hardly ever clicks like and does not do surveys - thank you. I write stories for people to read and hopefully enjoy. If you do that, then your support is appreciated and it’s great to have you as a subscriber.

Conclusions

Blending these results with my stats, likes and comments, many of my subscribers who are both readers and writers like my Supernatural Erotica Collection. Readers seem to prefer The Kinky Collection. Both my kinky and supernatural stories get roughly the same number of views and have similar open rates.

This is all good news. I enjoy writing both genres; The kinky stories are fun to write and I aim to publish one a week plus an instalment of a serial. Writing my supernatural stories is a bit more ‘heavy duty’, so it would appear my publication rate of one or two of these a month is about right.
