Moving In

After a short train ride and a walk through tree-lined streets, Paul and Suzette knocked on the door of an imposing house set back a little from the road.

“Are you sure this is the right address?” Paul asked.

“Yes,” Suzette looked up at the three storey house.

Tatyana opened the door. She was nude. “Come in,” she said, stepping outside to hug each of them in turn.

Paul and Suzette stood in the hallway looking lost. “It’s huge,” Paul said.

“But you’re…” Suzette looked at Tatyana.

“Just an artists’ model,” Tatyana said. “That is something I do because I enjoy it.”

“Is all this yours?” Paul looked around as he walked into the centre of the hall.

“Since my husband died, yes.”

“Good afternoon, Madam,” a voice said from a doorway off to the left.

“And this is my housekeeper, Maria.” Tatyana took the woman’s hand. “An old and dear friend who sees everything but keeps all my confidences.”

“Come,” she turned to Paul and Suzette. “I will show you your rooms and studios and then around the house. She turned and began to walk up the wide staircase. At the top, she turned to Suzette. “Whenever it is warm enough, I like to be nude in the house.” She smiled, “Whether you join me is up to you.”

Tatyana indicated two rooms. “A private bedroom for each of you and this is my room.” She opened a door at the end of the corridor to reveal a light, airy room with a huge bed in its centre.

They left their bags in their rooms and continued up another flight of stairs. I have had these two attic rooms cleared out so you can use them as studios. I hope the light is good. She opened doors on either side of the landing to reveal two large rooms lit by skylights.

“Oh, wow,” Paul and Suzette said in unison.

“What is through there?” Suzette asked, pointing at a door at the end of one of the rooms.”

“That was my husband’s darkroom. There are some of his cameras in there.”

“Can I look?” Suzette asked.

“Of course. You can use any of them if you know how. He took a lot of photographs of me, but I never learned about the settings.”

Suzette opened the door, turned on the light and disappeared inside.

A moment later she appeared in the doorway holding a camera. “This is a Leica.”

“Use it if you like,” Tatyana said. “I think there’s film in there as well.

“It’s a very expensive camera.”

“It’s yours if you want it.” Tatyana shrugged. “I have no use for it. There are boxes of film in the darkroom.”

Suzette disappeared again and then reappeared with the camera around her neck. She held up a light meter, read the reading and then set the camera before raising it to her eye and pointing it at Tatyana and Paul. There was a quiet click.

“I should pose,” Tatyana said.

“Later.” Suzette took two more photographs. “For the moment candid is nice.” She let the camera dangle on its strap around her neck as she unbuttoned her blouse. “So, are we going to walk around nude whilst Paul stays fully dressed?” She shrugged off her blouse and pushed down her slacks. “Or are we all going to be naked?” She walked over to Tatyana and kissed her lightly on the lips, her fingertips resting on her breast.

“If Paul wants to be submissive and accept us as his Mistresses, he will do what we command,” Tatyana said as she looked into Suzette’s eyes without glancing at Paul standing behind her.

“Is that what you want?” Suzette looked up at Paul over Tatyana’s shoulder.

“It is, Mistress.” There was a pause. “But I still need time to paint.”

“Of course,” Tatyana turned to face Paul. “Anytime you are painting we will not interrupt you. If you need to go simply say ‘Release me’. The rest of the time you will obey us without question. Is that what you want?” She took a step closer to him and raised her hand to brush her fingertips across his cheek. “If it isn’t, say so. It is not a condition of you staying.”

“It is what I want,” Paul smiled. “It is what I have always wanted.”

“Good, I have an idea for some photographs, but we are going to need some props,” Suzette said from behind her.

“My husband and I indulged in some, let’s say, creative sex play.” Tatyana smiled. “I may have some interesting toys.”

“May I ask a question?” Paul said quietly.

“Of course,” Tatyana said.

“Was your husband… submissive?”

“He was an industrialist, he owned a large factory which he managed to keep going through the war without giving away too much or losing most of his workforce to the German slave labour camps. In day-to-day life he was a strong, sometimes ruthless, man. In the bedroom he liked to surrender that control.”

“It seems like you are in good hands,” Suzette said, smiling at Paul.
