As predicted, Alan's come under Dianna's spell, and Stephanie's pissed. Before Dianna even starts talking she takes a look at her, and has the sinking feeling that this little caper may have been a big mistake, and could end up with her being tossed aside. Great little transitional piece here, Simone, and leads me to restate my belief that Dianna's a femme fatale whose true intentions have yet to be brought to light. It was obvious from the Prologue that something had been going on between the two women in the past (and now we're informed that they're meeting up periodically for recreational purposes now that Stephanie's all married and what not), and I like Dianna's deft handling of Steph's simmering resentment at the situation by turning this scenario into a preliminary for a very hot threesome which all three can enjoy, and that this is really the pot of gold at the end of Dianna's Rainbow of Domination which will provide years of fulfilling bedroom adventures for Stephanie and her kink-trained husband. Something's amiss here as I stated in a prior comment: Dianna's getting her pieces into position for a tactically advantageous strike, which is most likely not sexual per se (Alan doesn't strike me as the sculpted, Greek god sort to trigger waves of covetous desire in a young spitfire such as Dianna)--if anything, Alan's the proverbial stepping stone to something far greater, if Dianna's the ambitious mercenary the facts we have in hand thus far make her out to be. So looking forward to seeing where Dianna's game will go--I'm confident now that that's what's going on here in the final analysis--a premeditated setup, which will leave the Alan-Stephanie marriage in ruins at the very least, with Alan holding a bag of some kind with no recourse or means of escape from his predicament, while Dianna scores a massive payday of some sort.
